A good mix tape(in my point of view) is split into two parts, the MIX of music and the quality of the TAPE. Before I get into the MIX and the TAPE I want to tell you I really listened to this mix tape. unfortunately or fortunately I have a few friends who tried to sway me in giving this an automatic thumbs so I went hard listening to it at gym,the car and right now fifteen minutes before a business entities lecture.

The Mix:It was refreshing to hear such a variety of songs from deep intimate tracks about Tru's life(WAKE UP in Pluto,Movementality ), Rap ballad tracks that you can play for your girl on rainy days like these(if u in joburg you feel me) love the Crazy over you track and mega club bangers like Mid city bop and My zone. No hate the MIX of music was something I didn't expect from a typically "Club Rapper". Side note I really like the vocalist on the Movementality track she killed that hook.

THE TAPE :The quality of the entire record in terms of recording and production is probably one of the better ones I've heard from a South African Rapper(Thumbs up).

The Flow: Most people think I'm to critical on the flow of rappers and I always say its my job to be critical. Their certain tracks were he really does that sounding like weezy(lil wayne) thing and one another joint he really forces sounding like Wale maybe its just me.
